Well what am I doing? I created the blog a while ago and still haven't posted. I guess I just haven't had anything to talk about. Sadly I'm about a 45 minute drive from the nearest gaming club, and they only play on Saturdays so I don't play much. And thus I don't have a whole lot to talk about.
So I thought that I'd just show you guys my BTs list. It's my current version of the list (believe me I've changed it a lot) and I think it's pretty good. Sadly however I don't have all the models I need for this list so it only looks good in theory. This is 1,500 points since that's about as high as my friend can get with his ork army (and even thats pushing it).

Believe me I've had a LOT of time to plan on tactics with this list and I think it's pretty sound. Although I have yet to play test it because of the missing models. I need the vindicator and a few bits to make a rhino a razorback and a dreadnought have the right weapons. But tactically I think this will work. My plan is to make my opponent think I'm playing one way, but in reality I've got a whole other trick up my sleeve. I'm kind of basing my tactics off of fritz over at way of saim hann (btw fritz you're like my 40k idol).
As a quick overview of my plans, I'll be charging the Dreadnought out with the Assault Squad as backup. The Vindicator and HB RB will move up to mid-way and fire. I'll try to get my Chaplain into a good position for the Assault Termies (whom are in reserve) to deep strike by.
Sound like a full scale assault? Yes and that's what I'm going for, make it "look" like that's my plan so that my opponent will deal with the Dreadnought Termies and Assault Squad. Meanwhile my Las RB will be popping transports, with support fire from the Missile Launcher in Crusader Squad 3. The vindicator (while it lives) will be dropping the template on objectives and the HB RB will be taking shots at any infantry squad with Anti-Armor capabilities.
So the real plan with my army so to trick my opponent into dealing with the assaulting models while I take out the skeletal structure of their force. But what if they see that plan and try to take out my gun line? Fine with me! My Assaulting models will just hit them even harder than the guns!
